| I am a New England native who relocated to the Northwest about 2 years ago. I work at Microsoft as an IT Software
Development Engineer in the Enterprise Application Services (EAS-SAP) group in Microsoft IT. I spend most of my time
working on SAP .NET Web Services which offer business connectivity to Microsoft's SAP systems and developing internal .NET
web applications to support my group and their business processes.
When I'm not writing code, I can be found on campus
volunteering with the many women's organizations (Women in IT and EAS Women's Focus Group) and sharing my stories with
high school females visiting with the IGNITE program. I love
working at Microsoft and I'm really passionate about shaping developer tools and how they integrate with Microsoft
technologies.
In 2005, I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science degree.
Those 5 years (due to the tightly integrated cooperative education program) were the best of my life! I participated in 3
cooperative education internships and graduated with 2 and 1/2 years of work experience. I was also very involved in the
Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority where I held the position of Director of Finance for 2 years and Web Developer for our external
and internal websites.

When I'm not at work, my finance
Kevin and I can be found hiking/camping the mountains of
Washington, at Red Sox vs. Mariners games, BBQing, golfing, or out
on the town with the Seattle crew. We also spend quite a bit of time
volunteering with the Education First Seattle Chapter which is a
non-profit scholarships foundation that provides need-based college
scholarships for high school seniors that attend high schools with
historically low percentages of college applicants. I definitely
miss spending my summer weekends on Cape Cod, but nothing compares
to the Pacific Northwest!
